Very nice, large bedroom and kitchenette. The breakfast was wonderful-pastries, fruit, jams, meats and omelets made on request. The pool and outdoor seating areas were very luxurious. The owner's hospitality made us feel welcome in the B&B and his restaurant suggestions were great! It was the perfect peaceful retreat from our busy days in Florence.

The piece and tranquility, the lavender and the garden, the privacy and seclusion and yet within easy distance of Florence city centre. Our hosts were fantastic, attention was paid to every detail e.g. the time taken to familiarise us with the area, the transport, local restaurant recommendations and maps. The character and history of the building with in keeping decor and all remained true to it's history. Having our own front door and private patio in the Grape room made it feel more than just a B and B. The view and distant hum of the city at night was breathtaking.

The gravel lane down to the B and B, hopefully will be improved on in months to come.

We stayed four nights here. It's a highly recommended place to stay. Danielle and Massimo are excellent host. They were very welcoming and helpful and they gave us very useful information about Florence. The rooms are cosy decorated with style and taste. The gardens and the swimming pool are well kept. After a day visiting the busy Florence you can relax in a heaven of peace enjoying a breathtaking wiew over Florence. It's perfect.

The location is superb! It's away in the county side up Murello Mountain, yet just a short drive down to Sesto Fiorentino you can catch a 5min train to Florence! At first driving in Italy was daunting, especially with the reputation of the crazy Italian drivers, but after the first trip the rest of the driving around was so much fun, and the winding roads up the mountain is all apart of Tuscany's charm and beauty! The owners were just so so lovely, especially Daniela! They were friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful. We had just the perfect stay, and we would highly recommend Tenuta Lonciano to anyone wanting to stay in the Florence area! 10/10 :)

It was one of the best places we have ever stayed in. So clean, breakfast wonderful, staff friendly and so helpful, scenery amazing, The rooms were excellent, large bed and a useful extra room with fridge etc The outside of the property couldn't have been better. Two gazebos to sit under with very comfortable furniture. We highly recommend this property and will certainly go back again. Must have a car and the road down to the property was a bit difficult - but well worth it!

Absolute and highly recommended. A special place to spend unforgettable days. Danielle and Massimo's attention is excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and make the stay very enjoyable. Do not miss it!

An idyllic oasis in the hills above Florence. Wonderful staff, relaxation at it's supreme best. Loved it!

My husband and I loved our stay at Tenuta Lonciano. Everything was great and we never met such a kind owner. He helped us in need (our car broke down) and our stay at the Tenuta was like home. The breakfast was lovely (especially the Cappuccino!!!). Go there, you won't regret it!

The hospitality and enthousiasm of both Danielli and Massimo is excellent. Danielle, I wanted to compare other accomodations in Tuscany, but Tenuta is simply the best! The decoration is faboulous, with a combination of authentic elements and design. The breakfast is delicious with freshly baked pastries and Massimo's cheese omelettes. If I really should give one point of criticism, then I would say the white toast bread during breakfast could be skipped.If we return to Florence, we would definitely stay there again!!

The owner was Extremely friendly and helpfull. The rooms were large, very clean, comfortable and large beds, extremely clean Bathrooms and I could not find a bit of mold or dust anywhere! We had a huge selection at breakfast and more than enough to eat. The b&b is out in a forest on a huge piece of land overlooking Firenze. Its the perfect place to relax. Stunning views and very quiet. We stayed 2 nights and would recommend this place to ANYone - no matter how fussy you are! Highly recommended!

This is not a complaint - just a warning - The b&b is about 6km from the closest town so you would require your own transport - however - Since the owner is so friendly - he migth even offer to come fetch you at the nearest train station - so dont let this put you off !! - its a must see!

The hotel (ex. monastery) is amasing. Hidden pearl. The car is nesessary to reach the hotel.

Just the perfect place to stay in Firenze. In beautiful surrounding there is a spectacular view over the city. You just need a car. A perfect decorated and nice restored 13th century building and a hearty owner makes it a perfect stay, either for relaxing on the estate or visiting Firenze and the Toscany. You gonna love it.

There is only one word to decribe it - perfect. Especially we would like appreciate the care of owners. The little things they did made our stay more comfortable and pleasant. We can only recommend.

I actually booked this place as a gift to my parent's on their 30th wedding anniversary and they could not have been happier. This was the best possible choice. Once they got used to the location they were extremely comfortable with the road etc (and I am told the dirt road will be paved this May finally!). The service was excellent, my parents both fell in love with Massimo, Daniele and Maria- the incredible breakfast spread and the help they provided, guiding my parents on where to go/not go. My parents said they never would have got service like this in any large international hotel and it was like staying at their own home away from home.

We stayed 1 week in Tuscany and this was the best b&b out of 6 different ones. I would definitely recommend it. The breakfast was excellent, the staff - very friendly. Easy to reach Florence by car or leaving the car at the train station in Sesto Fiorentino. Perfect place!
